Talented creator who enjoys brigning people together, Jocelyn Sioui is a founding member of Belzébrute, band de théâtre and of OUF! Festival Off Casteliers, a festival dedicated to emerging puppet artists. He is one of the very few indegenous puppeteers in the province of Quebec. As a writer-designer-performer, his work has been appreciated throughout Canada and France. The originality of his approach has earned him numerous distinctions, including the Grand Prix du Jury at the OFF/Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes de Charleville-Mézière during Shavirez's run in 2013.

Mononk Jules, published by Éditions Hannenorak in 2020, marks Jocelyn's first steps into the world of literature. The documentary show of the same name won the Prix Accès Culture at the Bourse Rideau 2021. Since then, more than 80 shows have been presented across Quebec, and the work will travel to the four cardinal corners of Canada over the next year.

In 2022, Jocelyn Sioui published Frétillant et agile,  at Éditions Hannenorak, a tale that gives new life to Auhaïtsic, an unlikely Wendat hero. Currently, the show by the same name is being created in collaboration with several musicians and puppeteers, the story will be brought to the stage in 2023-2024.

Hybrid, tinged with humor and fantasy, Jocelyn's deceptively light-hearted work questions his origins and the collective memory. Through his work, he attempts to pick up and bring to life the pieces of an obscured history.
